Bruce is effective in maintaining and expanding relationships with the company’s clients including Post Properties, Omni Hotels, Equity Residential, Trump Entertainment, Simpson Housing, Mid-America Apartment Communities and other public and private firms that utilize Rainmaker’s revolution and revolution SM LRO revenue optimization systems.



Tammy Farley
Principal

Ms. Farley co-founded The Rainmaker Group in 1998 and devotes her time to increasing revenue and delivering greater profitability for clients. In her business development role, she assists major hotel/casino companies with implementation of business processes that optimize profit in all operating areas. The Rainmaker Group’s revolution SM revenue management system enables gaming hotels and other hospitality companies to manage demand so each room yields the highest possible combined room and gaming revenues per guest. One client credited revolution with contributing a 13 percent increase in gaming and hotel revenue per available room. Ms. Farley is a highly respected resource for innovative revenue management practices and project consulting, particularly in the casino hotel and resort markets. She has spearheaded successful revenue management implementations internationally for over 18 years and continues to maintain close professional relationships with Boyd Gaming, MGM MIRAGE, Trump Entertainment Resorts, IP Resort Casino Spa, Isle of Capri, Harrah’s Entertainment, Omni Hotels and other leading hospitality and gaming companies.



Amar Duggasani
Executive Vice President of Professional Services

As Rainmaker's EVP of Professional Services, Amar is responsible for ensuring that our solutions are implemented successfully and our customers derive maximum top line and bottom line benefits from their deployments. Amar manages Rainmaker's professional services and business consulting team. His focus is project and program management with a strong emphasis on pricing centered business process reengineering. Amar has over fifteen years experience architecting, designing and implementing highly complex Pricing and Revenue Management solutions as well as Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), Business Intelligence (BI) and Data Warehouse solutions across numerous industries including travel-hospitality, multi-family housing, media and retail. Prior to joining The Rainmaker Group, Amar has held many leadership positions with other technology companies, including Aeronomics, Manugistics, Indus International and Equifax. Amar holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from SV University, India and a Master of Science degree in Industrial and Management Engineering from Montana State University. Amar actively participates in applied research in the areas of Pricing and Revenue Management problems and presents in conferences.



Bob Wolfson
Chief Technology Executive

Bob is responsible for designing and implementing custom software applications across various industries with special emphasis on the travel and transportation industries. In particular, he has six years of Pricing and Revenue Optimization experience including development, analysis and technical implementation with such clients as Harrah's Entertainment, Caesars Entertainment, Omni Hotels, Drury Inns, and numerous major airlines. Bob is a recognized industry expert in data modeling, object oriented programming, development methodologies (including JAD and RAD) and requirements gathering techniques. He earned a B.A. in mathematics from Kalamazoo College and worked on his Ph D in mathematics from Dartmouth College.



Patrick Flint
Vice President of Operations

Pat is responsible for our IT, Data Center, Support and Quality Assurance operations. His background in management of software development, IT and consulting practices spans 25 years. He has held various IT and development positions with Delta Air Lines and Worldspan. Pat served as Director of Development with the Clarus Corporation where he was responsible for development and support of three products in the B2B electronic procurement sector. He joins us after a successful management role with a Southeast based Microsoft Gold Partner where he had responsibilities in sales and engagement management with financial institutions and hospitals. Pat earned his BBA in Economics at the University of North Texas and an MBA in Decision Sciences from Georgia State University.



Dr. Ahmet Kuyumcu
Chief Scientist

Dr. Ahmet Kuyumcu is responsible for ensuring that The Rainmaker Group provides the cutting-edge price optimization solutions for its clients. He has over 12 years of hands-on experience building profit-generating pricing systems across a wide range of industries including hotel, gaming resort, multifamily housing, broadcasting, automotive, manufacturing, distribution, and on-line retailing. Previously chief scientist at Zilliant and senior scientist at Talus (now JDA), Ahmet has taught graduate-level courses in pricing and revenue management at the University of Texas-Austin. He frequently speaks at conferences and universities and has published several articles in scholarly journals. In addition, Ahmet is actively involved in the Pricing and Revenue Optimization section of INFORMS (a leading think tank of pricing experts) and has served as its board member for two years. He has presented over 18 technical articles and organized many conference sessions and research clinics. He earned M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Operations Research from Texas A&M University.



Dr. Jian Wang
Vice President Research & Development

Jian Wang has over sixteen years of experience in mathematical modeling, system architecture and implementation in engineering and software vendor industries. Prior to Archstone-Smith, Jian was a principal developer at Manugistics with a focus on Pricing and Revenue Management. He participated in several projects related to car rental, airline and apartment revenue management systems. In particular, he was one of the pioneers developing the Lease Rent Options™ multi-family housing revenue management system. He is currently responsible for maintaining and enhancing the LRO, and providing support for both internal and external clients. Jian is a demonstrated leader in operations research. Several of his papers in the area of statistical inference have been published in top journals. He has frequently spoken at, organized and chaired at INFORMS (Institute for Operations Research and Management Science) conferences in Revenue Management and Pricing Section. Jian holds a B.S. in mathematics from Jinan University in China, a M.S. in applied mathematics and Ph.D. in statistics from Clemson University.



Patrick Flanigan
Vice President of Sales

Mr. Flanigan is responsible for the procurement of contractual licensing agreements for the LRO application within the Multifamily industry. Prior to joining The Rainmaker Group, Mr. Flanigan was Vice President - Sales & Marketing for MPF/Yieldstar, a division of RealPage, Inc. Mr. Flanigan brings over 22 years of technology and mortgage banking sales experience along with national knowledge of the multifamily industry. He has been an active participant within National Multi Housing Council (NMHC), National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts (NAREIT), National Apartment Association (NAA) and local affiliations as well. Mr. Flanigan obtained his B.S. degree in Marketing from the University of Colorado at Boulder.



Rod Collier
Vice President of Professional Services

As Rainmaker's VP of Professional Services, Rod is responsible for ensuring that Lease Rent Options (LRO) solutions are implemented successfully and Rainmaker multifamily housing customers derive significant revenue benefits from their deployments. Rod has the overall responsibility for technical and business implementation of all Rainmaker LRO engagements. Rod brings more than 20 years experience implementing Pricing and Revenue Management programs to the Rainmaker Group. Rod joined the team from JDA Software Group, formerly Talus Solutions, where he was a Practice Director and recognized as a successful leader of many industry first Pricing and Revenue Management initiatives. Rod has led Pricing and Revenue Management engagements for organizations such as the ABC Television Network, A & E Television Network, Aer Lingus, Continental Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Japan Airlines, Seven Network, and Virgin Atlantic. Rod holds a Masters and Bachelors of Economics from Eastern Illinois University.



Ken Miller
Vice President of Implementation Services

With over 23 years of Information Technology experience and 10 years of property management industry experience, Ken brings a unique background and approach to today’s technology issues. Ken has worked directly for Insignia Financial Group (now AIMCO) as vice president of Information Technology and Ambling Companies as Chief Information Officer. He founded his own professional consulting services company, OneSource Networking, which provides business process review, technology services, property management software implementation, and industry-specific consulting to leading property management companies. As vice president Mr. Miller oversees the successful implementations of Rainmaker-LRO Revenue Management to all property management clients. Ken earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Data Processing and Computer Science from the University of South Carolina at Spartanburg.



Brad Anderson
Vice President Business Consulting

A graduate of the State University of New York at Delhi in Hospitality Management, Mr. Anderson possesses over 20 years of experience in developing the revenue management discipline and its business processes. It was first with Marriott Hotels and then with Omni Hotels, that he was extensively involved in the development and deployment of an automated revenue management system. While Marriott Hotels was an early pioneer of revenue management, Omni hotels was also a frontrunner in this automation, currently developed and supported by The Rainmaker Group. At Omni, Mr. Anderson was responsible for the development of their business processes and training collateral that is currently being used today. His expertise in business process consulting and change management, make him a natural fit for the Rainmaker Group, where he now applies the principles of revenue management to the multi-family housing industry. Mr. Anderson prides himself on using a collaborative approach resulting in a progressive and innovative revenue management culture.



John Wallace
Vice President of Business Consulting

John Wallace has more than 20 years’ of experience delivering Revenue Management consulting services as well as packaged and custom software to U.S. and international clients in the Travel & Hospitality industry. This experience includes implementing Revenue Management solutions at numerous hotels, casinos, airlines, rental cars, and cruise lines. For 15 years, John served in the capacity of Vice President for Manugistics, Talus Solutions, and Aeronomics, Inc., becoming a recognized leader in the practical application of Revenue Management. Prior to joining The Rainmaker Group, John was responsible for managing and growing relationships with key accounts in the Travel & Hospitality practice at Acxiom, a firm specializing in customer-centric marketing solutions. John attended the University of the Pacific, where he earned a BA in Political Science with an emphasis on Survey Methodology and Statistics.



Stephen Tappert
Vice President Business Consulting

Mr. Tappert has joined Rainmaker from Archstone-Smith, leading the product deployment for new LRO customers. He is also directly involved in the design and development of the LRO product. Stephen came to Archstone-Smith from SafeRent, where he was responsible for the design and implementation of an on-line credit risk management model used in the multifamily-housing industry. During his tenure at SafeRent, he was also responsible for analyzing the performance of the model in the field at pilot communities for several REITs, as well as the product deployment for SafeRent’s first set of customers. Prior to helping start SafeRent, Stephen worked for Level 3 communications, where he created a sophisticated cost and pricing tool for the sale of fiber-optic telephony and data transmission at the wavelength, cable and conduit levels. Stephen has worked abroad, redesigning manufacturing facilities and processes in Budapest and Nagykanizsa, Hungary, with General Electric’s Corporate Audit staff. He has been involved with several start-ups, opening is first business when he was 17 years old. Stephen holds degrees from Colgate University and the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.
